Hi everyone
Welcome to my new website. Doesn’t it look great?
Thanks to Norman Burns of The Writestuff Media for helping me fine-tune the words, Glenn Nicholas of OM4 Website Design, Deb Wilkes and Fanita Farcic
from Little Design Farm and last, but not least, Craig Kinder of f22 Photography who took all the fantastic photos of my recipes.
I guess the photography is so great, that I cannot imagine that I cooked all that food. Norman was my first contact and he introduced me to the rest of the great team.
At first it was daunting when I was told about the photo shoot. I had to do a lot of planning. All in all I had to prepare 29 dishes over two days.
“WOW”!! you say – yes that is exactly how I felt. But it was all so interesting.
On March 3, Craig Kinder arrived at about 8am with Alana Blowfield to assist him.
While they set up the props, some of which were kindly lent to me by David Jones, House and Wheel in Barrow of Garden City I had to start the preparation of the dishes, which had all to be fresh.
As you can see from the photos, my husband Kamal also assisted me with the set-up. We finished at about 4.30pm.
The next photoshoot was on March 5 and the same process took place.
At the end of both days we all gave a sigh of relief, not because it was finished, but we all felt we had done a good job.
When I saw the finished product of the photos I couldn’t contain myself.
Well, now I am anxiously waiting for you all to have a look at my website and book classes to taste these mouth-watering dishes.
Until next time.
